What affects the price

Materials & finish. Melamine is the budget option; two-pac paint and timber veneer can nearly double the price.
Drawers & internal fit-out. Drawer banks, soft-close runners and internal accessories cost much more than open shelves or doors.
Size & linear metres. The total run of cabinetry is the core quantity driver.
Site conditions. Out-of-square walls, stairs access and scribing to old floors add installation time.
Benchtops & hardware. Stone tops and premium European hinges and runners sit on top of the joinery price.

Tips before you post

Ask to see the material and hardware brands specified in the quote — that's where quality quotes differ.
Flat-pack plus a handyman is cheaper, but custom joinery is worth it for awkward spaces and built-ins.
Lock in the finish colour and handle selection before fabrication — changes after cutting are expensive.
