What affects the price

Scope of rooms. Each additional room adds concept, sourcing and coordination time.
Level of service. Advice-only is cheapest; full procurement, project coordination and styling cost the most.
Designer experience. Established designers with strong portfolios charge well above emerging ones.
Furniture & materials budget. Fees charged as a percentage or margin scale directly with what you spend on the fit-out.
Revisions & meetings. Extra concept rounds and site visits beyond the agreed package are billed on top.

Tips before you post

Ask exactly how they charge — hourly, fixed, percentage or purchase margin — and get it in writing before starting.
A single paid consult is a cheap way to test the fit before committing to a full package.
Share your real budget early; a good designer designs to it rather than presenting unaffordable concepts.
