Whole home, premium wool$7,500$13,500

What affects the price

Carpet grade. Polyester is cheapest, nylon mid-range, and wool the premium option per m².
Floor area. Total m² drives the job, though per-m² rates ease slightly on bigger areas.
Underlay quality. Better underlay adds a few dollars per m² but changes how the carpet feels and lasts.
Stairs & tricky layouts. Stairs are charged per step, and rooms with lots of angles create cutting waste.
Removal & prep. Pulling up old carpet, disposal and smoothing the subfloor can add to the quote.

Tips before you post

Ask whether the quoted m² rate includes underlay, old carpet removal and disposal — it varies.
Solution-dyed nylon is the sweet spot for households with kids or pets.
Keep leftover offcuts for future patch repairs in high-wear spots.
