Single garage shed$8,000$16,000
Large workshop or double garage$18,000$35,000

What affects the price

Size. Floor area drives the kit, slab and labour costs almost linearly.
Concrete slab. An engineered slab is often 25–35% of the total — an existing slab saves thousands.
Steel grade & wind rating. Cyclonic and high-wind regions need heavier engineering that raises the kit price.
Doors & inclusions. Extra roller doors, windows, skylights, insulation and lining all add to the base kit.
Approvals & site. Council or certifier approval, sloping sites and tight access add cost before the shed even arrives.

Tips before you post

Most sheds beyond a small garden size need building approval — factor the certifier's fee and lead time in.
Get the slab and shed quoted together so no one can blame the other trade if something doesn't line up.
Insulating the roof at build time is cheap; retrofitting it later is not.
