Real-world examples

Fixed window awning$400$1,500
Manual folding-arm awning$2,500$6,000
Large motorised awning$5,000$10,000

What affects the price

Awning style. Fixed window awnings cost a fraction of retractable folding-arm systems.
Width & projection. Larger spans need heavier frames and more fabric, lifting the price quickly.
Motorisation & sensors. Motors, remotes and wind or sun sensors add $500–$1,500 over manual operation.
Fabric & frame quality. Acrylic canvas and powder-coated frames last longer than budget alternatives but cost more.
Mounting & access. Brick versus lightweight cladding, and second-storey installs, change the fixing work required.

Tips before you post

A wind sensor is worth it on motorised awnings — gusts are the main cause of damage.
Check the fabric warranty separately from the frame warranty; they often differ.
Measure the drop of the afternoon sun before choosing projection — bigger isn't always needed.
