What affects the price

Coverage and height. More elevations and higher lifts mean more components and erection labour.
Hire duration. Quotes include a base hire period; extra weeks are charged on top.
Ground and access. Slopes, soft ground and poor truck access add engineering and handling time.
Special requirements. Roof edge protection, stair access, hoardings and bridging over structures all cost extra.
Location. Distance from the yard affects delivery and dismantle pricing.

Tips before you post

Scaffolds over 4 m must be erected by a licenced scaffolder and handed over with a completion certificate — ask for it.
Coordinate trades so the scaffold goes up once; re-erecting it for a forgotten trade is expensive.
Confirm the included hire period and weekly extension rate before signing, in case the job runs long.
