What affects the price

Area to remove. The core driver — more square metres means more labour, wrapping and disposal fees.
Friable vs bonded. Friable or damaged asbestos needs a Class A licence and full enclosure, costing far more per m².
Location & access. Roofs and internal linings take longer to remove safely than external walls at ground level.
Disposal distance. Tip fees and travel to the nearest licensed disposal facility vary a lot by region.
Air monitoring & clearance. Larger or internal jobs often require independent air monitoring and a clearance certificate.

Tips before you post

Anything over 10 m² of bonded asbestos legally requires a licensed removalist — never DIY it.
Ask for the disposal receipt from a licensed facility as proof it was dumped legally.
If you're only suspicious, pay for a lab test first (~$50–$100 per sample) before pricing removal.
