Real-world examples

Single-storey cement render$6,000$13,000
Single-storey acrylic render$9,000$18,000
Two-storey full render$15,000$32,000

What affects the price

Wall area. The total external m² is the core driver — bigger homes cost proportionally more.
Render system. Cement render is cheapest; acrylic systems cost more but resist cracking and carry the colour.
Substrate and condition. Painted brick, damaged mortar or mixed cladding need extra prep or base coats.
Storeys and access. Scaffolding for a two-storey home can add several thousand dollars.
Detailing. Window reveals, quoins, banding and parapets slow the job and add cost.

Tips before you post

Cement render needs painting afterwards — factor that in when comparing it against coloured acrylic.
Ask what surface preparation is included, especially over painted or damaged brickwork.
Check completed jobs a year or two old — quality shows in how the render has weathered, not how it looks on day one.
