What affects the price

Hours & crew size. The core driver — total labour hours, doubled when a second gardener attends.
Garden condition. Overgrown lawns and beds take far longer than a maintained garden on a regular round.
Green waste removal. Taking waste away adds trailer and tip fees; leaving it in your green bin is cheaper.
One-off vs regular. Regular fortnightly or monthly visits usually get a better hourly rate than one-offs.
Specialist tasks. Hedges at height, large tree pruning or spraying may need extra gear or a specialist.

Tips before you post

Booking a regular round is the cheapest way to keep a garden under control — catch-up jobs cost more.
Agree upfront whether green waste goes in your bins or gets carted away, and who pays tip fees.
Anything involving large trees or work near powerlines is a job for a qualified arborist, not a gardener.
