Real-world examples

Full PM of a major renovation$12,000$35,000
New build or large extension$30,000$90,000

What affects the price

Project value. Percentage-based fees scale directly with the construction cost.
Scope of engagement. Design-phase and approvals management costs more than construction-only supervision.
Duration & complexity. Longer programs, difficult sites and many trades mean more PM hours.
Reporting & involvement level. Weekly reporting and daily site presence cost more than fortnightly check-ins.

Tips before you post

Agree the fee structure upfront — percentage, fixed or hourly — and what happens if the build cost grows.
Get the deliverables in writing: program, budget reports, site visits per week and who holds the trade contracts.
A PM doesn't replace a licenced builder — structural work still needs appropriately licenced contractors.
