What affects the price

Home size. More bedrooms and bathrooms mean more hours — bathrooms are the slowest rooms.
Clean type. Regular cleans are cheapest; deep and end-of-lease cleans take two to three times as long.
Condition. Homes that haven't been professionally cleaned in a while need extra time on the first visit.
Extras. Ovens, inside windows, walls and carpet steam cleaning are usually priced as add-ons.
Frequency. Weekly or fortnightly regulars usually get a better rate than one-off bookings.

Tips before you post

For end-of-lease cleans, ask for a bond-back guarantee and give the cleaner the agency's checklist.
The first clean is often quoted higher — the price usually drops once the home is at a maintained standard.
Confirm whether products and equipment are included in the hourly rate.
