What affects the price

Number of rooms. The core driver — most quotes are simply rooms multiplied by a per-room rate.
Soiling & stains. Pet accidents, red wine and heavy traffic marks need pre-treatment and extra passes.
Room size & furniture. Oversized living areas count as two rooms, and moving furniture adds time.
Extras. Rugs, upholstery, mattresses and stairs are priced per item on top.
Method. Standard steam cleaning is cheapest; low-moisture or encapsulation cleaning can cost more.

Tips before you post

For end-of-lease cleans, ask for a receipt that states 'professionally steam cleaned' — agents often require it.
Vacuum thoroughly before the cleaner arrives; some charge extra if they have to do it.
Carpet takes 4–8 hours to dry — book for a warm day and keep windows open if you can.
