What affects the price

Room size. Bigger rooms mean more tiling, waterproofing and flooring — the biggest material cost.
Moving plumbing. Relocating the toilet, shower or basin adds plumber time and can trigger extra waterproofing.
Tile choice & tiling area. Tiles range from ~$25/m² to $120+/m², and floor-to-ceiling tiling roughly doubles the tiled area.
Fittings quality. A budget vanity + tapware package versus premium brands can swing the total by several thousand dollars.
Condition & surprises. Water damage, old wiring or asbestos found once walls open up can add unplanned cost.

Tips before you post

Keeping the existing layout is the single easiest way to control the budget.
Get the waterproofing certified — it protects you and is required for warranty.
Set aside a 10–15% contingency for surprises hidden behind old walls.
