You buy credits in bundles. The per-credit rate typically drops the bigger the pack, which means the cheapest rate requires the biggest up-front outlay.
Different leads cost different numbers of credits depending on the job type and value, so the same pack goes further in some trades than others.
Credits are consumed when you respond to the lead, not when you win the job. An unresponsive customer costs the same as a signed contract.
The same enquiry can be sold to multiple businesses, so your credits buy a place in a queue rather than an exclusive introduction.
