Single window, manual$400$850
Four windows, motorised$2,800$5,200
Whole home, smart motors$6,500$13,000

What affects the price

Number of windows. Each opening is priced individually, but multi-window orders share the install visit.
Window size. Wide windows and sliding doors need bigger boxes, more slats and stronger motors.
Operation type. Manual winders are cheapest; electric adds a motor and wiring; smart or solar motors cost the most.
Electrical work. Hard-wired motors need a licensed electrician, either included in the quote or on top.
Installation difficulty. Second-storey windows, brick cutting or non-standard reveals add fitting time.

Tips before you post

Check whether the quote includes the electrician for hard-wired motors — it's a common hidden extra.
Battery or solar motors avoid electrical wiring entirely and suit retrofits and second storeys.
In bushfire-prone areas, ask for shutters tested to the relevant BAL rating.
